The ask: Shoot video and photography assets for Varo’s rebrand and asset Library.
The photography assets will be used for lifecycle emails, social, and Varo’s new website. Conceptually, the photography hits emotional drivers ranging from celebratory moments (Payday, no hidden fees), confidence, aspirational moments, ease, carefree moments, intimate moments, ect., and focuses on themes such as growth and prosperity. The Imagery has a relatable and approachable style vs. the standard banking tropes we have come to know from traditional banks.
Images are shot in an editorial and candid style of photography that capture real moments. Moments range from point of sale, which are more product focused, to everyday purchase moments, where people spend money. Locations and themes range from: laundromats, markets, artistic shots, lifestyle images, portraiture, atm shots, and everyday purchase moments that are slightly posed for visual interest.
The images hit three different customer segments ranging from single people, friend groups, families, and showcase Varo’s mission of diversity, inclusion, and representation for financial inclusion; differentiating its-self from other fintech companies.
Varo is the first fully charted digital bank.
